about 6 years agoHey everybody, just died at the last Tyrant boss outside in RE 1 Director's Cut. But now I looked something up on your site and wonder what it says here. In the B4 "Main Lab" Room it says there is a clip in the northwest of the room. I checked every centimetre in that room and couldn't find it. Is it really there?
Thank you for answer. -

about 7 years agoSo I just looked for more information on the Internet. I found a walkthrough video where the player also needs and finds ink ribbons to save. It's played with the PC version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGLV8D_2q2o
Although, I found out, other people say that on the PC version you won't need and find ink ribbons to save with Jill.
Strange... I had ink ribbons on the first run and needed them to save the game but I don't have them when I restart a complete new game. Got "The White Label" version. -

about 7 years agoHello, here is another thing I didn't know before concerning to Resident Evil 1 PC Version of 1997. Several months ago I reinstalled the game and finished it (with Jill). Now I started a new game and I could save on every typewriter without needing ink ribbons. Later on, it came out that I can't find any ink ribbons in the actual run. I didn't know that this is possible. :D
I saw that I saved after completing the game the first time (Save 00) but I didn't load this one. I also can't choose a difficulty on new game. I know that Jill's game is said to be easier than Chris's game because of inventory space but I know that I had ink ribbons on my first run after installing the game.
I couldn't find anything about it in the Internet. -
