The status of the maiden at the back of the room is a secret entrance to the Underground Facility. You need to acquire three medallions and insert them into the base of the statue to reveal the secret entrance. The three medallions needed are the Lion Medallion, the Maiden Medallion and the Unicorn Medallion.
