Village Ganado (Resident Evil 4)

Ganado, which is Spanish for "cattle", is the generic term for human hosts of a Las Plagas parasite. The creature either enters the body if the host inhales its spores or by direct injection of a Plaga egg.

The Village Ganado's are the former residents of Pueblo who were enlisted into mining the fossilized Plaga underneath the Salazar family castle. In doing so however, they inadvertently inhaled the spores of the Plaga, allowing the parasite to grow within them without their knowing about.

The Ganado's carry various different weapons, including axes, sickles, knives, pitchfork, even sticks of dynamite. Even unarmed ones will use their bare hands as a method of trying to kill you.
