Las Plagas (Resident Evil 4)
The Las Plagas parasites are responsible for the dreadful transformation of man and beast in the fateful Spanish settlement. If the sun has set and a Ganado takes too many hits, the Plaga will break through his torso in order to protect its host.
There are three types of Plaga: A, B and C. Only the C type has the ability to completely remove itself from its host in order to find a new body to infect. It is worth noting that once a Plaga has emerged from its host, a single Flash Grenade will kill it instantly.
