The young commander of the Rockfort Island prison facility, and a member of the distinguished noble family that originally established Umbrella. However, when the Ashford's development work on the T-Virus lagged behind, their position in the company fell to ruin. Now Alfred is nothing more than a commander of a facility on a remote island in the ranks of the company. Soldiery in charge, he is a manic sadist. A brutal dictator, he suffers from hysteria and nervousness. Alfred bears a masochistic fascination with his younger sister Alexia, writing her love notes and the like.
