Carbon-reinforced alloy blade with serrated edges. Chris has been using it since his days in the Air Force.

Survival Knife (Chris's)

Chris's standard Combat Knife, very sharp and very dangerous in the right hands, although never fully tested against the undead and laboratory experiments.

It may seem like a joke to use this weapon against anything encountered during the game, but used correctly it's possible to go through the entire game using nothing but this small implement. There's one point in the game where it's desirable to use, and that's to clear the webbing away from the door after you've fought the Black Tiger.

A mid-size, lightweight survival knife. Jill's personal protection knife used for close encounters.

Survival Knife (Jill's)

An automatic that fires .40SW rounds.

Samurai Edge

A poweful handgun developed for the S.T.A.R.S. Members.

This weapon is available after completing the game under five hours, and comes with infinite ammo. It also has a higher probability of decapitating zombies than the standard handgun. It uses Handgun Magazine for its ammunition.

By stabbing this dagger you'll be able to protect yourself and escape from hostile situations.

Dagger

A small dagger, used as a defence item.

This defence item is available to both characters. When an enemy attacks, you will stick this in their head, allowing you to escape. If you manage to decapitate the enemy after this, you can retrieve the dagger to use again.

A self defense item. Normally used to disturb the offender's vision.

Flash Grenade

A small flash grenade, used to blind your enemies for a short period.

This weapon cannot be used in the same style as a traditional grenade. This is one of Chris' self defence items; when an enemy attacks, Chris will force this is their mouth, which will result in decapitation.

Shotgun

A classic pump-action shotgun.

A fairly powerful weapon, can be used against most enemies. Zombies can be decapitated with this weapon, simply aim up and shoot when the zombie gets very close. This weapon is good at knocking over enemies, making it effective against some of the more stronger enemies of the game. It uses Shotgun Shells for its ammunition.

Fires 12 Gauge Shells. A S.T.A.R.S. custom arsenal and also Richard's favourite.

Assault Shotgun

A more powerful shotgun, with the ability to hold more shells than the standard one.

Just like the regular shotgun, this can be used against most enemies of the game. With the added firepower, it's a weapon that is even worth using against some bosses. It uses Shotgun Shells for its ammunition.

Grenades are already loaded.

Grenade Launcher

A heavy grenade launcher once belonging to Forest Speyer.

A powerful weapon exclusive to Jill. Can be loaded with three different varieties of shells; Grenade Shells, Acid Shells, and Incendiary Shells.

A self defense gun that fires .22 Magnum rounds. One round has been fired already.

Self Defense Gun

Magnum Revolver

A heavy magnum revolver, an extremely powerful handgun.

This weapon uses Magnum Rounds, and can defeat almost any ordinary enemy with one shot. The ammunition is in fairly short supply, so this should be reserved for boss battles.

A anti-personnel weapon that sprays a stream of flame.

Flamethrower

A flamethrower with a limited fuel supply.

This weapon is only exclusive to Chris, and has an additional purpose other than killing enemies. Placing the gun on panels with two hooks in the Courtyard B1 area unlocks the corresponding door, allowing you to proceed. However, this means you can't leave the underground with it in your possession.

Fires .44 Magnum rounds. An extremely powerful handgun, not to mention one of Barry's favourites.

Barry's 44 Magnum

An extremely powerful weapon, Barry's personal favourite who uses it during the Mansion Incident.

You can acquire this weapon only if you're playing as Jill and you let Barry die at the hands of Lisa Trevor in the Altar. The weapon is really useful against the final boss of the game, it packs a huge punch and can take down any regular enemy with one hit.

A very destructive weapon that fires rockets with a large blast radius.

A large shoulder-mounted four-chambered rocket launcher.

The ultimate destructive weapon, given to you at the very end of the game to destroy the Tyrant.
